The Idaho Head Start Association is a private
non-profit organization that represents 12 Idaho Head Start programs and 3,500
children. It is governed by a 49-member Association. Each Head Start grantee may
have up to four voting members represented in the Association. These four voting
members from each program include one director, one staff member, and one parent
member. The fourth member is determined at the local grantee level and is
recognized as a friend representative. The Governing Board is elected and
peopled by the Association members.

To advocate for the children and families of Idaho by promoting and
strengthening all Idaho Head Start programs.
