Christopher Deuel of Salt Lake City, Utah went to Head Start in Twin Falls, Idaho.  Christopher says “I will always have a little place in my heart for Head Start. Head Start gave me the right direction…” Christopher studied public relations at Salt Lake Community College, served on an LDS mission as assistant to the mission president in Alabama, met with President Clinton and his advisors in Washington, DC when he was accepted to Better Boys Nation, and was also an Eagle Scout. Christopher served as a “student anchor” on the public access channel in Twin Falls in 8th-10th grade.  In high school he was accepted to Boys State, and notably, Christopher received the Head Start national scholarship.  He was taken on a trip to Seattle for a national convention.  “Head Start gave me the frame of mind that I can do anything…Head Start was a good morale booster.  I was positive in school.”
