Among our illustrious Head Start graduates in Idaho is a 25-year morning show radio personality. She wishes to remain anonymous at this time.

Looking back at her early years at Head Start, she has memories of the lunch room and of all the good food.

She also remembers the profound effect Head Start had on her mom, a single mother, who volunteered for three years with the program. Head Start inspired her mother to go to back to school. She attended college at Boise State University and Lewis and Clark State College. She passed away before achieving her career objectives, but certainly passed on her desire for achievement to her daughter. Head Start instills an invaluable a love of learning in parents as well as children.
